Single vs. Multi License Guide (for use with Activities Guide):
- Single License: single teacher using for primary classroom. Single after school program. Single at-home educational learning.
- Multi License: multiple teachers using for multiple classrooms. School wide viewing of movie. Library after school program with multiple times/sessions.
Our Activities Guide was developed to assist educators teaching age ranges 10-16 or middle and high school age students who are screening Keiko The Untold Story in their classrooms/learning environments. If you are looking for a Community Screening License, go here.
Numerous topics, questions and activities are provided to heighten learning and understanding of orcas, their culture and social structure, and the impact of captivity.
The guide is organized into 3 main sections: before, during and after watching the documentary. In each section there are various approaches to engage with, explore, and enhance your group’s experiences with the documentary. It can be used on-line or in-classroom, or a combination. Modification ideas for reading, writing, and visual learning are included. This guide works with full classrooms, small groups and even individually. Cliff notes and resources are included for educators at the end, along with images meant to be copied or reproduced in relation to the guide.
